Bulldog Gutter Guard is a fully enclosed gutter protection system that fits new or existing gutters. Its unique micro-pore filtration is designed to prevent leaves, seeds, and pine needles from entering your gutters. Individual shingle granules can pass through the micro pores and then are flushed out of the gutters with rainwater.

No. All products placed on a home's exterior require maintenance occasionally. Bulldog Gutter Guards block leaves and debris from entering your gutter. Variables like what tree cover is over your house or how much wind your roof receives affect the maintenance needed to keep Bulldog working optimally. Please read the warranty for the maintenance necessary for Bulldog Gutter Guard to be warrantied (read the “EXCLUSION TO WARRANTIES” section).

Because ice dams are caused by poor insulation and ventilation, our gutter guards can’t prevent them, but they can reduce the amount of ice buildup in your gutters, helping to reduce serious damage from split seams, loose hangers and disconnected gutters.

Yes. Bulldog Gutter Guard are WUI Fire Class A compliant, which is the highest fire-resistance rating. They’re approved for use in wildfire-prone areas and meet current ASTM code requirements. This means they’ve passed the required fire tests for flame spread and ember exposure. They won’t contribute to fire spread on the roof or at the gutter line — exactly what inspectors and insurers look for in WUI zones.
